Microscopic characters:  Hypocrystalline-porphyritic texture.  Lath-shaped
phenocrysts of labradorite are often wholly or completely enclosed in large
clear augite grains.  Small grains of magnetite and leucoxene are abundant.
Chlorite and opaque glass fill interstices.
